Trujay Group is an integration services company located in Austin, TX. Our team is filled with self-professed data nerds who set up integrations for fun (seriously). And profit–let’s not kid ourselves.
Want us to guide you through doing the setup by yourself? That’s okay with us! We’re also happy to take a “white glove” approach and do all of the hard work for you.
We find that most clients don’t know exactly what it is that they want to integrate. For this reason, we spend significant time with your team to ensure that we understand your current business processes and your goals for the integration.
Ideally, we’ll meet with your system admins and a few of your regular system users. Getting an executive team member’s input is also always valuable.
Have you customized your systems in any way to work best for your business? Which custom fields do you need to integrate? How many records are updated on a daily basis? We’ll dig into all of this and much more.
Once we’ve discovered what your needs and goals are, we ensure to document this for you in an Integration Plan. The plan will summarize the scope of the project, high level needs and goals, a summary of next steps, and instructions for testing.
In addition, we’ll create client-facing project plan that will help keep us on schedule and within budget. The project plan will allow our internal team and your team to track tasks and hours.
In addition to the other documentation, we’ll also create a mapping document.
This document is the most important piece of information regarding the project, and it is what the design of the integration is based on.
Our team will work with you to map out which fields to sync, which system owns which data, which data should flow, etc.
Depending on the middleware that you selected, the development process will vary slightly.
Development of the integration is usually comprised of the following steps: Connecting to the end point systems or other data sources, mapping the objects, mapping the fields, adding filters, and adding additional customizations.
Ahh… Testing. You either hate it or love it. Or hate to love it. Or love to hate it.
Unfortunately, testing is a necessary evil, and we’ll try to make it as painless as possible for you.
We’ll test existing records and new records, ensuring that data syncs as expected and that we’re merging and deduping as expected.
Go-live time! This process can take some time as we’ll be collecting all of the data from your systems and moving the data between them.
Once legacy data has been synced, we’ll take another look to ensure that everything moved as expected.
If all looks well, we’ll turn the processes on to allow data to sync automagically!
